It is mounted to a wood base to which is affixed a brass plate inscribed: PRESENTED TO / HON. FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT / PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES / BY / MEMBERS OF THE / BOY'S CLUBS OF AMERICA / MAY 20, 1941.
