Physical DescriptionA large, three-masted, square-rigged wooden model of the VICTORIA. The ship has a green, black, and white painted hull with metal fittings and no sails. The model sits on a wooden cradle stand.
Historical NoteThis model was purchased by Franklin Roosevelt in 1910 from Captain Alonzo Calder in Deer Island, New Brunswick, near Campobello. Calder had a part interest in the VICTORIA.
