Physical DescriptionA black and white photographic print of a typewriter portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt. The head and shoulders portrait is completely created from various typewriter characters and shows FDR wearing a dark suit jacket, a white shirt, and a dark tie

The portrait is matted, glazed, and framed in a 1/2" black wood frame with gilt inner trim.
Historical NoteThis typewriter portrait was sent to FDR in 1944 by the maker, Sidney Norman Cohen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It took two years to create.
