Physical DescriptionA painting of an unidentified ship-of-the-line. It depicts a side view of a three-masted sailing ship with a black and white hull. The ship is shown in open water and with only the upper sails unfurled. In the right foreground of the painting is a small gaff rig sloop with two figures visible on the desk. Another sailing ship is seen in the left background. The painting is unsigned.

The painting is framed in an original 1¾" gilt wood frame.
