Physical DescriptionA rectangular pin, possibly from Al Smith's 1928 campaign. On the vertical gold pin are three horizontal bands in red, white, and blue with a gold star on the upper red and lower blue bands. Gold text on the center white band reads: AL. / SMITH.

Historical NoteNew York State Governor Alfred Smith was the Democratic Party’s unsuccessful presidential candidate in 1928.
