Physical DescriptionA black and white wood engraving print depicting Henry Hudson’s ship, the HALF MOON. A reflection of the ship is seen in the still water in which it sits. Printed below the image in the lower left: FEDERAL ART PROJECT / NYC WPA. The title is in pencil below the image, center: The Becalmed Half Moon 1609. The artist's signature in pencil is below the image in the lower right: Charles E Pont. The print is currently housed in a large window mat.
