Physical DescriptionAn original watercolor depicting 13 children dressed in clothing from different parts of the world. Hidden by the mat, their locations are labeled below each scene including: HOPI INDIAN, JAVA, MEXICO, JAPAN, NORWAY, SWEDEN, and GERMAN.

The painting is glazed, matted and framed in a light green and white 1/2" wood frame. Attached to the bottom is a brass plaque engraved: WPA ART PROGRAM.
Historical NoteThis painting was created for the Illinois Art Project, Federal Art Project, Works Progress Administration. It was apparently done as a study for a mural.
