Physical DescriptionA pendant in the form of a translucent red heart with a 1946 Roosevelt dime (its first year of issurance) inserted into the center. A metal loop for hanging is attached to the top of the heart.
Historical NoteThis pendant was sent to Eleanor Roosevelt in January 1947 by Gene G. Brooks, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia. He made two of the pendants, one for his wife and the other for Mrs. Roosevelt "in remembrance of your late husband whom we loved so well."
