Physical DescriptionA pair of tan gabardine riding breeches. The flared-hip breeches have buttoned side closures at both the waist and calves, jetted side pockets, and belt loops. Cream-colored leather patches are sewn on the inner knees. There is no manufacturer's label.
Historical NoteEleanor Roosevelt kept and rode horses throughout her life. These breeches of hers, along with a jacket (MO 1971.59a), formed one of the riding outfits she is seen wearing in photographs.Additional Details
