Physical DescriptionAn original caricature portrait of Eleanor Roosevelt, done on an upside-down page from a Manhattan telephone directory (page 1004, Loon - Lo Pinto). Formed from just a few bold black ink strokes, the caricature shows just Eleanor's head, turned slightly to the left of the page. On her head is a low hat, and the beads (or pearls) of a choker are visible below her chin. Written in pencil in the lower right corner of the page: Eleanor. The caricature is unsigned.
