Physical DescriptionA teardrop-shaped black hat made of stiffened linen. The interior of the hat is lined with pink silk on which is sewn the white fabric maker's label that reads: Sally Victor / NEW YORK. A small fabric flower is sewn along the interior opening of the hat, and an elasticized cord runs the width of the hat. Inserted into the exterior of the hat is a metal hatpin with a black oval head.
