Physical DescriptionA round pinback campaign button. At the center of a white button is a black and white halftone left-facing profile portrait of the head and shoulders of FDR. Text above the portrait reads: THE FRIENDS OF FRANKLIN / ROOSEVELT. The manufacturer's information is printed on the reverse.
Historical NoteIn January 1931, FDR's aide Louis M. Howe and James A. Farley, chair of the New York State Democratic Party, formed "The Friends of Franklin Roosevelt" organization to promote FDR's candidacy for the presidency.
