Physical DescriptionA 1962 Bell System Credit Card, card number 988-8665-K72. The card is made out to: MRS. F. D. ROOSEVELT / 55 EAST 74 STREET / NEW YORK 21, N. Y. Eleanor Roosevelt's signature (badly faded) is on the obverse side. The printed reverse has a grid to write phone numbers down.
Historical NoteThis card was among the items found inside Eleanor Roosevelt’s wallet after her death. A facsimile of the card is displayed alongside other items found in the wallet in the Museum’s FIRST LADY OF THE WORLD gallery.
