Physical DescriptionA three-dimensional caricature portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt wearing traditional Mexican charro clothing. FDR's head, shown as a right-facing profile, is made from padded and colored stockinette fabric. He is wearing a black sombrero with gold trim, a dark leather-like jacket, a black shirt, a red ribbon tie, and a colorful striped sarape. The caricature is mounted to a piece of gray cardboard.
Historical NoteMuseum records do not indicate who gave President Roosevelt this depiction of him in traditional Mexican garb.
