Physical DescriptionA round pinback coat-tail button from the campaigns of Franklin Roosevelt and James Cromwell. At the center of the red button is a blue square with white text that reads: ROOSEVELT / CROMWELL. The manufacturer's information is printed along the rim of the button. Also printed on the rim of the button is the message: Paid for by David T. Wilentz.
Historical NoteThis 1940 campaign button features presidential candidate Franklin Roosevelt and James Cromwell, the Democratic Party's unsuccessful candidate for the U.S. Senate from New Jersey.
