The license appears to be validated Aug. 29, 1961 (though no information on the license has been entered), and expires December 31, 1964. Both the left and right sides of the front are signed in ink: Anna Eleanor Roosevelt.
Historical NoteThis license was among the items found inside Eleanor Roosevelt’s wallet after her death. A facsimile of the license is displayed alongside other items found in the wallet in the Museum’s FIRST LADY OF THE WORLD gallery.
