Physical DescriptionA round pinback button from the January 20, 1937 presidential inauguration of Franklin D. Roosevelt. On the white inaugural button, slightly off center, is a circular black and white halftone Harris & Ewing 1933 photographic headshot of FDR, copyrighted at the bottom of the image: © H-E. Black text above and below the portrait reads: MAN OF THE HOUR / JANUARY 20, 1937. Running along the left edge of the button is a red, white, and blue patriotic stars and stripes banner design.
