Historical NoteEight-year-old Eleanor Roosevelt inherited this ring when her mother died in 1892. She wore the ring often while she was a young woman and later gave it to her daughter, Anna. It is on display in the ELEANOR ROOSEVELT exhibit in the Museum’s FOUNDATIONS OF A PUBLIC LIFE gallery.
