Physical DescriptionAn army green long-sleeved knitted pullover sweater. Stitched to the interior back of the collar is a personalized fabric tag with the name “ JOSEPH LASH” printed on it.
Historical NoteEleanor Roosevelt enjoyed knitting and embroidering gifts for family and friends. This sweater was knitted by her for her friend, Joseph P. Lash, while he was serving overseas in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II.Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteDonated to the Franklin D.
