Physical DescriptionA softbound album of cancelled and non-cancelled Dutch stamps, 1923-1934. The album has cardstock covers and is bound by a red, white, and blue striped ribbon finished with a bow. Printed on the front cover is the State Coat of Arms of the Netherlands below which is a handwritten ink inscription: A tribute to / Honorable Franklin D. Roosevelt / from School Children of Holland / July 1934.
The interior of the album has 13 pages holding 147 stamps from the Netherlands, as well as Dutch colonies including the Dutch (Netherlands) East Indies, Curaçao, Netherlands West Indies (Netherlands Antilles), and Suriname.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on January 25, 1945. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
