Physical DescriptionA decorative wall piece in the form of a cast metal axe, possibly chrome-plated, commemorating George Washington. The head of the axe features a cut out left-facing profile portrait of George Washington. The handle has a raised inscription that reads: “WASHINGTON / INAUGURATED PRESIDENT OF THE US / APR. 30, 1789.” Two metal loops along the top of the axe allow for hanging.
