Physical DescriptionA Regency-style gout stool with a wood frame and green fabric upholstery bordered with gold-colored fabric trim.
Historical NoteThis footstool was used by President Franklin D. Roosevelt aboard the presidential yacht, USS POTOMAC. The footstool formed lot number 565 in the Exhibition and Sale of the Collection of the late President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt that took place at the Hammer Galleries in New York, NY, November 12 to December 3, 1951.Additional Details
