DescriptionA color poster featuring a uniformed member of the Women's Army Corps using a protractor on a map. On the left arm of her uniform is an Army Ground Forces shoulder sleeve insignia, as well as an Army Technician sleeve rank patch. The artist's facsimile signature is in the lower right corner of the image: Ramus. In the lower left corner of the image is the Women's Army Corps (WAC/WAAC) insignia – the Greek goddess Pallas Athene (Athena) – and the words "Topographic Draftsman / ARMY AIR FORCES." Below the image, on a light gray background, is dark gray text that reads: WOMAN'S PLACE IN WAR / The Army of the United States / has 239 kinds of jobs for women / THE WOMEN'S ARMY CORPS.
