DescriptionA red, white, and blue poster promoting U.S. Navy recruitment. The top of the poster features a blue tone illustration of a U.S. Navy ship at sea with various Naval Petty Officer ranks and patches above it, and the title “THE UNITED STATES NAVY” below it. The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower right corner of the illustration: “MATT MURPHEY ~ USN.” Below the illustration is the red and blue heading, “YOUR JOB IN THE NAVY / HOW TO TELL IT! WHAT IT MEANS!” followed by four columns of U.S. Navy positions, each with a position description and symbol, along with related civil jobs.
