DescriptionA group of eighteen American Revolutionary War musket balls. The balls are stored in a glass jar with a metal screw top. Adhered to the bottom of the jar is a sticker with the typed number “D-28-61.”
Label TextThese musket balls were found in Inwood Hill Park, a park located at the top of Manhattan, New York. The balls are believed to be from the fighting at Fort George and Fort Tryon during the American Revolutionary War. They were presented to Franklin D. Roosevelt by Patrick Coghlan of New York, New York.Additional Details
