Label TextThis poster features photographs by Alfred T. Palmer and Marion Post Wolcott. Palmer led the photo department of the Office for Emergency Management before moving to the Office of War Information. Wolcott was a member of the New Deal’s legendary Farm Security Administration photo unit from 1938-1941. The men in the poster are, left to right: Corporal French L. Vineyard (taken in May 1941 by Wolcott); welder George Woolslayer (taken by Palmer); and John Marshall Evans, Radioman, First Class (taken by Palmer).Additional Details
