DescriptionA plush, pink oval throw rug made of rayon. On one end of the rug is a black silhouette image of a Scottie dog. On the other end of the rug, in black script lettering, is the name "Falla" [sic]. The rug is backed with three tiered layers of tan felt with a zigzag cut at the edges.
Label TextFDR had a lifelong affection for pets. The best known was Fala, a Scottish terrier given to him by his distant cousin, Margaret “Daisy” Suckley, in 1940. During World War II, Fala became Roosevelt’s constant companion and the most famous dog in America.
