DescriptionA color poster encouraging enlistment in the U.S. Army or Navy. At the top left of the poster is a black and white head and shoulders illustration of a young male construction worker. The artist’s facsimile signature is at the bottom of the illustration: “DAN V. SMITH.” Black, white, and orange text on the poster has the message: CONSTRUCTION WORKERS! / Now YOU CAN VOLUNTEER FOR SERVICE IN THE ARMY OR NAVY / USE YOUR TRADE SKILL TO FIGHT WITH THE NAVY SEABEES [corresponding logos] ARMY ENGINEERS / APPLY AT ANY ARMY OR NAVY RECRUITING STATION.” The poster also includes information on Voluntary Induction vs Voluntary Enlistment based on age.
