DescriptionA cast metal still bank. The bank consists of a bronze-painted head and shoulders bust of Franklin D. Roosevelt. He is shown wearing a suit jacket, shirt, and tie. Text on the front of the base reads: THE PRESIDENT BANK. The interior of the piece is hollow and there is an opening on the underside of the base (the access door is missing and likely contained the coin slot). The manufacturer's information is on the reverse of the bust: © J. F. D. / BRC. 1934. Stamped on metal surface above this: MFM.
