a) A short, multi-shade blue faille jacket with ¾ sleeves, a wide rounded collar, three matching fabric-covered buttons on the front, and two small fabric bows on the back. Underarm shields are attached to the interior of the jacket, each with the manufacturer’s information stamped on it: Kleinerts / BLUE LABEL / GUARANTEED / MADE IN U.S. AMERICA / 100% COTTON / 670 C-1 SIZE 3.

b) A long, sleeveless blue dress with a deep V neckline. The dress has a faille top consisting of a combination of light blue fabric and the fabric used for the jacket, and a dark blue cut velvet skirt. A zipper opening is on the back.
Label TextThis two-piece outfit was owned and worn by Eleanor Roosevelt. She can be seen wearing it during a February 12, 1962 meeting with President John F. Kennedy at the White House for the President’s Commission on the Status of Women.
