DescriptionAn illustrated color poster featuring the cartoon images of women in various industrial and service jobs working on and around a large sign made up of individual purple and red letters that read all together, "WOMEN." Below the sign is the image of a woman working on a jeep. Black and red text to the right of the jeep reads: There's work to be done and / a war to be won . . . Now! / DISTRIBUTED FOR WAR MANPOWER COMMISSION BY OWI. The artists facsimile signature is in the lower left corner of the illustration: VERNON / GRANT / FOR O.W.I. Yellow text on a black strip along the bottom of the poster reads: SEE YOUR U. S. EMPLOYMENT SERVICE.
