The manufacturer's information is printed on a paper label on the reverse of the button.
Label TextThe United War Work Campaign, which ran from November 11-18, 1918, brought together seven non-governmental organizations to raise money to provide entertainment for American troops serving abroad during World War I. The organizations involved were the YMCA, the YWCA, the American Library Association, the War Camp Community Service, the Knights of Columbus, the Jewish Welfare Board, and the Salvation Army.
