DescriptionAn unused red, white, and blue World War II war bond storage envelope. The obverse side of the envelope has an illustrated image of a fighter plane with text that reads: REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR!! / BUY DEFENSE [crossed out] WAR BONDS / AND KEEP 'EM FLYING / PROPERTY OF [line on which to insert name]. Informational text regarding defense bonds is below. The reverse side of the envelope has a printed log to keep track of bonds purchased and maturity dates.
