DescriptionA printed Franklin D. Roosevelt tribute. It consists of a black and white photographic portrait image of FDR. Below the image are three paragraphs of typed text titled: A FRIEND IS GONE. The text describes the feeling of great loss by most Americans on the death of FDR. No maker or date listed.

The piece is framed in a 3/4" wide wood frame with a plastic "glazing" and a wood backer.
Label TextFranklin D. Roosevelt's sudden death on April 12, 1945 stunned the nation. Americans created a variety of tributes to their fallen President, this item being one such example.
