DescriptionA round pinback button from the campaign of Al Smith and Joseph Robinson. The button consists of three horizontal bands in red, white, and blue. Printed on the bands is white and blue text that reads: SMITH / AND / ROBINSON. The manufacturer's information and two union bugs are printed on the reverse of the button.
Label TextNew York State Governor Alfred Smith and his running mate, U.S. Senator Joseph T. Robinson from Arkansas, were the Democratic Party’s unsuccessful presidential and vice-presidential candidates in 1928.
