DescriptionA badger carved from stone. The badger is crouching down on the ground with three beetles on the ground around it. Etched on the front side: BADGER STATE TO / PRESIDENT FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT. Etched on the left side: MILWAUKEE WIS. / W.P.A. PROJECTS 1670-2210. Green felt liner on underside. The piece was sculpted by Richard Bolmes and carved by Paul Schwade.
