DescriptionA half-hull model of the 44 gun frigate, USS COLUMBIA. The wooden ship has a white hull with black trim. The model is mounted to a plaque formed from a rectangular piece of stained wood with the name of ship below the model: USS COLUMBIA.
Label TextThis model was presented to President Roosevelt by the maker, Ammen Farenholt, Rear Admiral M.C., U.S.N. (Ret.), of San Diego, California, on March 5, 1945.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on April 7, 1945. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
