DescriptionA light gray felt fedora, size 7 3/8, with a black grosgrain hat band. The interior is lined with silk with the maker's information printed on it: Cavanagh / [shield device] / John Cavanagh Ltd. / 247 Park Avenue New York. The lower section of the interior near the opening has a brown leather sweatband stitched around the circumference. On the sweatband is the embossed patent information for the "Improved CAVANAGH EDGE," and a separate gilt debossed "CAVANAGH MAKE" mark.
