DescriptionA round pinback campaign coat-tail button. At the center of the button is a blue circle with an illustration of the U.S. Capitol dome in white. Encircling the edge of the button is a broad red band on which is white text that reads: ROOSEVELT / HORNER. The manufacturer's information is printed on the reverse.
Label TextThis 1932 campaign button features presidential candidate Franklin Roosevelt and Henry Horner, the Democratic Party’s successful candidate for governor of Illinois. It is on display in the 1932 ELECTION CAMPAIGN exhibit in the Museum’s THE PROMISE OF CHANGE gallery.
