DescriptionA small, unglazed, head and shoulders bust of George Washington. The bust is attached to a matching base with the name "WASHINGTON" in relief letters on the front. The artist's name is located on the hollow interior of the base: P.M. ADAM DEIST / 1902. Also on the interior of the base is a small paper sticker with a hand written number: D-27-19-b.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on July 20, 1940. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
