DescriptionA light taupe felt, western open crown hat, size 7, with a matching grosgrain hat band. An adhesive sticker on the hat band has the typed number: D-27-44. The exterior surface of the hat, as well as the underside of the brim, is nearly entirely covered with the original ink signatures of the 100% Democrats of Reedley, California. A hand written inscription along the edge of the brim reads: TO THE HONORABLE FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT WHO BROUGHT PROSPERITY TO OUR COUNTRY – FROM THE 100 PERCENT DEMOCRAT OF REEDLEY CALIFORNIA.

The lower section of the interior, near the opening, has a brown leather sweatband stitched around the circumference. Stamped in black on the sweatband: "El Rodeo".
