Label TextAdlai Stevenson was the Democratic Party’s unsuccessful presidential candidate in 1952 and 1956. Eleanor Roosevelt helped Stevenson secure the Democratic Presidential nomination for both years. She wore this button during the 1956 presidential campaign.
