A gold star signified a family member had died while in service. This flag was created to honor Franklin D. Roosevelt Library staff who served in the military. The gold stars represent Library employee Augustus J. Siko (1921- 1943) and America’s Commander in Chief, Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945).The flag is glazed and framed in a 3/4" black wood frame.
