DescriptionA needlework piece featuring the National Recovery Administration (NRA) Blue Eagle logo. Embroidered on a piece of off-white fabric is the blue eagle symbol consisting of a solid blue eagle holding a gear in its right talon and bolts of lightning in its left talon, and the words "NRA / CONSUMER / U.S. / WE DO OUR PART" in red and blue text above, across, and below the eagle.
Label TextOriginally intended for Eleanor Roosevelt, the maker of this needlepoint, Agnes Biehler Rouleau, sent it to the FDR Library in 1964. She had created the piece in the 1930s, developing the pattern for the needlework herself.Additional Details
