DescriptionA megaphone from Franklin Roosevelt's campaign. The megaphone is constructed of black cardboard, and a silver-colored metal collar forms the mouthpiece. Adhered diagonally to the surface of the megaphone is a campaign sticker. The horizontal sticker has a red band across the top, a white band across the bottom, and white and blue text that reads: WE STAND WITH / ROOSEVELT.
Label TextThis megaphone was used during the 1940 presidential campaign by May Thompson Evans to campaign for FDR in the Wall Street area of New York City.
