Physical DescriptionA round pinback campaign button. On a red-rimmed white button is a black and white illustration of a donkey kicking with its hind legs at an elephant. Black text above and below the illustration reads: Kick out / DEPRESSION / with a / DEMOCRATIC VOTE. The manufacturer's information is printed along the edge of the rim.
Historical NoteThis button was designed by George Haumann, owner of the Character Display Co. in Chicago, Illinois and was manufactured by the Green Duck Company, also of Chicago. See MO 1947.93.149 for a mechanical version of the button.
