Physical DescriptionAn original black and white cartoon featuring Franklin D. Roosevelt's Scottish terrier dog, Fala. The cartoon is of a scene showing Fala in a White House corridor outside a partially open door. He is standing on a chair with his front paws resting on a water fountain from which he is drinking. The artist's signature is in the lower right corner of the cartoon: ALAN FOSTER. The caption is handwritten in pencil below the cartoon: "THE PRESIDENT IS FULL OF DRY HUMOR TODAY". The cartoon sheet has several publication notes written in pencil including the number "7870".
