Physical DescriptionAn original black and white cartoon featuring Franklin D. Roosevelt's Scottish terrier dog, Fala. The cartoon is of an indoor scene showing Fala inside a White House room which has a row of filing cabinets. Fala has his front paws propped up on an open bottom drawer as he examines the contents. The Washington Monument is seen in the distance through the window. The artist's signature is in the lower left corner of the cartoon: ALAN FOSTER. The caption is handwritten below the cartoon: "Let me think now – did I file that under D for dog or B for biscuit?" The cartoon sheet has several publication notes written in pencil including the number "6637".
