DescriptionA Spanish language poster promoting inter-American solidarity during World War II. At the center of the poster is a large color photographic image from November 1943 of the U.S. Navy battleship USS COLORADO (BB-45) on open water, artillery firing from the big guns at the aft. Spanish text in black on yellow bands above and below the image reads: “LOS GRANDES CAÑONES HABLAN / Como preludio a la invasión por tierra, los cañones de un acorazado estadunidense arrojan toneladas de metralla contra las defensas del enemigo.”
