Physical DescriptionA book-like note pad holder covered in red, blue, green, and cream flower and leaf patterned fabric. The interior of the holder is lined with black, leather-like textured material. Adhered to the interior left side of the holder is a color print featuring a Chinese scene titled “DIGNITARY AND SERVANT” below the image. There is no maker's mark.
Historical NoteThis notepad holder is part of a four-piece set (MO 1990.7.7a-d) used on the desk in Eleanor Roosevelt's bedroom in her 74th Street apartment in New York City.
